Juliette Perine Myers is a queer, mixed-race Chinese-American artist. She is currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she is a practicing mosaic artist and muralist. She uses art as a tool for connection, processing emotion, play, and catalyzing social change.
Juliette has collaborated on several public art projects with artists in the Twin Cities that focus on social justice and community. Her independent work is inspired by patterns, elements, and movements found in nature, her Chinese heritage, and her queer identity. Juliette also works as an assistant to mosaic artist, Lori Greene, at Mosaic On A Stick studio and she is a part of the BIPOC mural collective, Creatives After Curfew.
A transplant from California, Juliette moved to Minnesota in 2013, and since has participated on several public art projects as a collaborator or as an assistant on projects including the Survivors’ Memorial on Boom Island (lead: Lori Greene), Mural On the Ave in south Minneapolis, and Celestial Embodiment for the 2021 Chromazone Mural Festival in St. Paul (lead: Missy Whiteman).
Currently, she teaches mosaic classes offered at Mosaic On A Stick, and is currently taking commissions for murals and mosaic work.
